| The new SIG for AERA, Critical Perspectives in
Early Childhood Education, is officially on its way. We are very
excited about the SIG and its potential for allowing us all to continue
to share our work--under the auspices of the annual AERA conference. |
|
|
|
| In order to claim slots for the program we need
to expand our membership base. If you would like to join, please
send an email and your mailing address to one of us. |
|
|
|
| Two activities are currently in process:
1) A "retreat" for all SIG members and/or Reconceptualist
Conference Attendees, Saturday and Sunday in Bloomington, IN,
after the Bergamo Conference.
2) A SIG-sponsored mini-conference in Oxahaca in early
January. It will be an opportunity for us to network and share
ideas with our colleagues in early childhood education from Mexico.
Jeffrey Lewis, who is in Oxahaca completing a research project,
is chairing the program committee. Let us know if you would like
to attend and watch this site for the formal call for papers.
